Le Camflex était fabriqué par la National Instrument Corporation. Son boîtier en aluminium est élargi à l'arrière de façon à recevoir les bobines du film. Ses seuls réglages sont le choix du mode pose ou instantané et la mise en place d'un filtre interne incolore (portrait ?) actionné par un levier latéral.
